Mehrangarh Fort, JodhpurPerched on a 150 m high hill its sprawl is the most formidable & magnificent fort in Rajasthan. Nathmal-ki-Haveli, JaisalmerTwo architect brothers built it in the 19th century. Interestingly, while one concentrated on the right, the other concentrated on the left & the result is a symphony epitomising the side by side symmetry during construction. Patwon-ki-Haveli, JaisalmerThis is one of the largest & most elaborate Haveli in Jaisalmer & stands in a narrow lane. It is five storeys high & is extensively carved. It is divided into six apartments, two owned by archaeological Survey of India, two by families who operate craft-shops & two private homes. Taragarh FortThe Taragarh Fort, also known as the Star Fort was built in 1354. It towers over the town & the surrounding countryside.
